I was going to post something else here.

And then there was suddenly an earthquake.

And it lasted for a whole minute.





EARTH, THIS ISN'T FUNNY

Last night, during a call regarding a medical claim;

Caller: Why is it denying as "member not found?" :| She's active on the policy, we checked!
Me: Hang on, let me check... *after a minute* ... ma'am, this claim is for someone... male. You marked them as female in your claim form. That's why the system couldn't process it.
Caller: ... that can't be right, she's a woman :|
Me: *checks some few screens* ... uh, "she"'s clearly marked male in our records, ma'am. Since... 1999.
Someone from the background: ... hang on, let me get their medical records.
*background noises of shuffling paper; after a minute*
Caller: ... you gotta be kidding me.
Someone from the background: Oh my Godhahaha--
Caller: But she had giant boobs! Dx What the fuck--
Me: *would normally reprimand them swearing is not allowed during the calls, but too busy laughing with the mute button pressed down*

I remember when I was eight years old, I was so frustrated because I really wanted to learn how to whistle.

Just today, while on the way to work, I found myself whistling to "I See the Light" perfectly. I don't know if I should feel proud that I can finally whistle perfectly, or ashamed that it took me this long to learn how to do it.

In other news, even if I have a job, I feel like I'm barely making a difference in our family's financial situation. My mom's recently considering getting work, which made me worry to no end because I know her health is not that perfect.

I gave up hope on my sister a long time ago.

There's anything barely left with the salary I keep getting every week, and I have to cut down food costs just so I can give more, but it always seem never enough. I know my mom keeps telling me it's fine, but I really wish I could do more.

This is probably the reason why my RP drive fluctuates a lot recently, because I keep worrying over my family. We even planned to watch HP7 once it came out, but they had to scrap the plans because we could use the money elsewhere like bills and food. I'll probably just save my cinema money for Tangled instead, because I don't feel like seeing HP7 without my family.

I even tried volunteering for overtime, and I'll probably work during Thanksgiving X( oh well.

Brb another typhoon.

Ugh, I hate being sick.

Been throwing up since yesterday and I have work. Hhhh. And my work policy sucks. If you absent and fail to call in for just one day when that happens, you have to write a letter explaining why and they'll judge if you're telling the truth or not. OH YEAH, SURE, LIKE I HAD TIME TO CALL WHEN I WAS PUKING MY GUTS OUT. They won't accept a simple medical certificate.

In other news, finally getting my ass off and starting to game hunt again for a game for one of the following.

+ Ven (duh)
+ Zack (Crisis Core, not KH), possibly Aerith too
+ Alice (Pandora Hearts I BLAME YOU THORN)

Right now, I'm in one of those moods where I'm not picky about Activity check, since my schedule is pretty stable now. Been considering polychromatic damnit, yes, again, adstringendum, dissideo (this one is jossed) and a bunch of other places. Posibly discedo too? Hardest part is app writing, I swear. Still kinda iffy about sirenspull cause of mods.

On another note, I'm also game hunting for a friend who wants to play Namine somewhere. Anyone know where she's not taken?

I hate mondays.

To make myself feel better, I did something weird. I reserved BBS in three game stores (I'm buying it at the first store I reserved, though.)

I know, I'm insane, but then again, I need something to keep me sane. :|

Also I just finished Crisis Core and I think Zack just pushed over Cloud in the spot in my heart. Play iiiiiiiiiiit, you guys, it's fun and tear jerking. Got to keep going down on my play-to-list though. BBS comes out in a week, so I'm pushing back P3P and Dissidia down a little.

Receiving your salary feel so nice. <3 I love my job.

Anyway, flist! Need your opinion. On October, we'll be having a costume day in work though it's more like cosplay day, given our team's preference. We'll be wearing costumes the whole time we're in work so that means I should start working on a costume soon orz. I cannot decide between...

That's... order of how much I think I can make the cosplay. I mostly want it to be covered up because THE AIR CONDITIONER IN OUR OFFICE IS SUPER COLD derp. Reason why Aerith tops that list. I won't have trouble doing Tifa's hair, so I considered her as well. Serah's clothing is actually easy to gather, and I already have her shoes >> I have Yuna's skirt and necklace already, so that won't be a problem either. And Aqua's there because I want to cosplay her just once. Maybe at a friend's party idk.

IDK FLIST WHAT DO YOU THINK. RECOMMENDATIONS, ENABLING, ETC?

Why is it I seem busier during this summer vacation than when I was back in school?

I think this job I'm applying for is going to hire me for real now. The salary is good; roughly $300 a month, $340 if you count the daily allowance I'll get. I'm hoping I get put on the night shift though, since I like working at night better. All I need to do is submit my requirements tomorrow and I'm starting on monday.

In other news, the weather has now turned a full 180 degrees. We're getting floods again over here, and rain is nonstop. I just came from my job offer and the water outside was knee deep. People are starting to get out their little Styrofoam boats and gettin' a paddlin'.
